A volatile month saw big losses for many local firms, such as bowesandcocks.com, franallen.com, grantgibson.net, peterboroughrealestate.ca, realtyguysinc.ca, remaxeastern.ca and thehammondboys.com. Most of the rest, whose gains roughly equalled or exceeded their losses, experienced jumps that were of only a few points, while their drops tended to be steeper in ratio.

Of all local companies, the outstanding winner this month was dnsrealestate.ca with increased rank for 20 search phrases, with only one loss and one rank unchanged. Another winner was mcconkeyrealestate.com, although most of their gains were below first page level.
